Most Americans never feel like they have enough money coming in to do all the things they
want and need to do. But according to personal financial strategist Alexander Gayton,

How hard is your money working for you? Most of you will never experience

of different wealth eroding forces. Integrating your personal finances can

Here's how most of you unknowingly lose thousands of

among other items like vacations, home improvements, cars, and saving for retirement

in our society called the law of economic scarcity. This simply means too few
dollars to do the things you really want to do.
A natural by-product of the
law of scarcity is microeconomic financial decision making. This means you
are making financial decisions without seeing the big picture and since you
have a finite supply of money you're forced to decide between your wants and
needs. In most cases, your wants prevail potentially leaving you unable to
address unexpected needs. This can leave you vulnerable to unnecessary financial
risk. Couple this with the effects of wealth erosion, building true wealth
can be next to impossible.
Wealth erosion is the effect of taxes, inflation,
technological changes, planned obsolescence, and market fluctuations on your
money. These "forces" quietly and consistently eat away and erode your hard
earned money. They are insidious and very powerful negative forces. Wealth
erosion is perpetuated by financial institutions, large corporations, and the
media. For example, you're told to accumulate money in a 401K, IRA or some
other type of "tax qualified" plan. At the same time, you're told that pre-paying
your mortgage is a good thing. So you rush to work to fund your 401K and rush
back home to pre-pay your mortgage and unknowingly cancel out your home mortgage
interest deduction. This is just one example of how a non-integrated approach
and wealth eroding forces affect your ability to build wealth. There are at
least twenty-five more that cost you and your family thousands of dollars in
lost wealth over your lifetime.
The good news is that you can combat these
forces and keep them from stripping away your hard earned dollars and even
better you can do it without any additional out of pocket expense or change
in lifestyle. The key is to integrate and coordinate your finances using techniques
similar to those used by major financial institutions. You can truly protect
and maximize your wealth. The sky is the limit. All it takes is a little imagination
and the right strategies.
